We had dinner here on the last night of our trip and it didn’t disappoint. Chef Mauricio was able to accommodate a vegan tasting menu for my husband, and every single dish was unique with very distinguished flavors that each shined on it’s own. It was the perfect dinner to end our honeymoon. Diego’s service and attention was amazing. Highly recommend checking this restaurant if you get a chance. The service is perfection, the ambience is luxury, yet still casual.

Delicious dishes, hot drinks, juices, and much more await to delight your palate. We had a very bad new year’s eve experience. The service was weak and they allow people to smoke in the bottom floor and stairs without any ventilation so the smoke heads right up to the restaurant. I have an asthmatic baby and we expressed our concerns but the owner didn’t seem to care.
Above all they overcharged us for two taxis, keeping about $16 for themselves while we asked for our change they dismissed my father. A sour experience for what was supposed to be a nice family NYE experience abroad. This is the only sushi restaurant better than noe, which is owned by the same people.
The food was fresh, delicious and presented elegantly. The pricing is reasonable and worth every penny. The digital deck cover bar area is also beautiful, modern and relaxing and a joyful environment to get ready for a great meal.
This intimate little restaurant has only a few small tables, but they always seem to be full. Casa Gangotena is a luxurious hotel in a beautifully renovated colonial building in the center of Quito. Ranking among the top hotels in the world, Casa Gangotena is an example of elegance and class, and the hotel’s restaurant mirrors these qualities perfectly.
The dishes were incredibly unique with great balance and harmony. It was by far the best restaurant I have been to in South America. A “must” whenever visiting the colonial center of Quito. Outstanding service and menu created to highlight traditions and delicacies of the Ecuadorian cuisine and culture.
