We took a lot of liberties with the look of the magazine cover, and we ended up with the most realistic, detailed texture that we could have possibly put on it. We tried to achieve the same look, but we didn’t stick with the “realistic” approach.

We did a lot of modifications in Photoshop, and because of that, we didnt do a lot of layers. Instead, we used a layer mask, then created a color mix, and then created a gradient that blended those two colors together. The result is that the magazine cover looks a lot less “realistic” and more “artsy”, but you can still see the look, and it is stunning.
