Little Charlie Creek RV Park offers a relaxing and comfortable feel nestled along the Little Charlie Creek and the Peace River where guests can enjoy kayaking and fossil hunting along the water. The Park is conveniently located is 1 mile from Walmart, Winn Dixie, and Ace Hardware, Punta Gorda Airport with Allegiant Airlines is just directly South on HWY 17 and within an hour drive.
We’ve been here for 8 months now in 2 different locations and we’re new to the rv life. It’s nice because they have a flat rate, a clean area, and bathhouses with locks and 2 sfefcu rewards bathtubs. The pool closes at 10pm and security is just to enforce the silly rules. Only one car per lot and curfew at 10pm. Thought we’d stay here & play at a local casino.
The Tushar Mountains, the remains of an ancient volcano, rise above the timberline 12,000 feet. Mountain goats live on the rocky crags and may be seen by a watchful rider. The trail runs through the Kimberly ghost town where 2,000 gold miners worked the hills around the turn of the century. A side trip can be taken down to Piute Reservoir State Park. Several overlooks along the trail afford spectacular views.
The Paiute Trail marker is taken from a pictograph discovered in a local canyon of the Sevier Valley. Pictographs, which are painted on rock, and petroglyphs, etched in rock, are common in this area from the prehistoric inhabitants of this region. To see Indian drawings and to learn about these people, visit the Fremont Indian State Park in Clear Creek Canyon.
Lizzie and Charlie’s RV/ATV Park is a wooded campground located near Maryvale, Utah. It features 100 full hookup campsites that are big rig friendly for RVs of up to 60 feet. Many of them are pull through accessible even for extra wide RVs. The park provides free WiFi, allows pets, and has a dump station.
